Thank you for your interest in Westman Lions Manor, a not-for-profit Life Lease housing complex for those aged 55+.
Life Lease provides the benefits of secure tenure but eliminates the responsibility of ownership. A life lease provides a lease for life in an apartment with all the perks of a condominium without the mortgage.
Westman Lions Manor is located on the corner of Victoria Avenue and 1st Street in Brandon, MB. It is within walking distance (or a short drive) to shops, restaurants, churches, and medical facilities.
Westman Lions Manor was made possible by the efforts of five Lions Clubs in the Brandon area. Their vision was to create a safe and secure independent living environment for residents that are 55+, situated in a convenient location.
The original building (Phase I) was built in 1989. It has 65 one-bedroom apartments and 63 two-bedroom apartments. It offers seven layout variations and surface parking.
A new addition (Phase II) was built in 1999. It has 60 apartments and offers six layout variations, as well as the option of indoor parking.
The suites are financed via the Life Lease method and are operated on a not-for-profit basis.

Brandon Area Community Foundation Partnership
The BACF invests the contributions it receives in a perpetual endowment fund and uses the income earned to give back to Westman Lions Manor. Anyone can become involved in helping to build the assets of the Foundation – individuals, families, corporations and groups. Your gift to the Westman Lions Legacy Fund will benefit the community now and into the future.
Your Donation At Work
The funds will be used to enhance common areas enjoyed by residents, their families and friends. Through your generosity, we plan to make improvements to our facility this may include purchasing park benches for outdoor spaces, new furniture for common areas, musical and fitness equipment, and games for all to enjoy!
